Flock
Quote: Men are like sheep, of which a flock is more easily driven than a single one.

My colleague from Shanghai shared this snap for the series. Unfortunately I had to crop the clouds a bit since the ratio wasnt sufficient to squeeze in a horizontal quote.
How many of you believe this quote? I would have prefered to add "some" to the begining of the quote. But then left it after seeing the way our stock market is moving. Eventhough the fundamentals are reasonably strong (as long as you ignore the oil prices and the possibility of confrontation between US and a host of countries like Iraq, Iran, Palesting, N.Korea) still it doesnt warrant the way some of the stocks have appreciated recently. I think most of the stocks are over valued and they deserve a correction.

I agree with this quote baejaar... You can observe the truth in this from our state (TN) election results in the past... Either we give a clear hit or clear flop. This may not be an apt. example but this is what came to my mind instantly...
And we do many things b'cos the next person is doing it... right from buying a electronics to house. even the education for children is decided by the parents in the same way, irrespective of the capability and interest of the student...
I forgot to mention about the stocks... I know nuts about it ;-) so keeping silence..
ana., gold rate anniyama increase agarathu ennakku pidikalai... en ippadi thidurnu, ivalavu villai yeruthu nu ennakku puriyalai...
read some where that, it is due to the investment in gold by foreign countries. Is it so? can any body explain?
Didnt u notice the crash in Gold prices, couple of days back?
The gold prices are usually determined by the heavy weights - I mean the country buying or selling gold for their reserve/bullion.
The Elections are different from this quote. Either it is hit or flop, it was totally driven by capability of any party who mastering this sheep
An incredible picture!
I believe every man has been in a flock before. And that's Ok, sometimes the flock moves towards something good. It's never having been a single mind that is disturbing.

As far as politics, I have never understood it. Even when some one does something good, he might be booted out and on the contrary for unexplicable reason someone might be given the power.
LH,
Trust me. It is often true. Havent you noticed product marketing? Are the majority of them sold by features?
Thanks Sonson. It is helpful but I would have preferred if they people validate it first before joining th bandwagon.
Baejaar,
when that someone does something good (rarecases :-) ), he won the seat on his own individual capacity though his party may failed due to over-all name & performance at the time of the elections. This win-win competition also a kind of a marketing strategy like, Who can sell them in a better way to the people won the confidence of the people.
