Shortcuts in Life

Shortcuts

Quote: Beverly Sills

The lift leads to my cubicle, literally. Does that mean it isnt worth going there? ;-) I hope my manager doesnt look into this blog. But if he does, I hope he will arrange for a cabin instead of these cubicles :-)

Jokes apart, I had loads of trouble trying to frame this. I had to make sure that my reflection isnt prominent in the image and I wanted the correct light to ensure that the staircase is reflected on the lift. After twidling for long time, I composed this shot. Waiting for your feedbacks. It could have been better, if only I had some hand lights which I could have muffled.

Let me add, this post is dedicated to my sis who relocated from Bangalore to Faridabad this weekend. We will miss you......

There may not be a shortcut to any place worth going, but there is certainly a better way to go there.

Hi Anonymous

When there is a will there is a way. Its all about choosing the right path though it might be strewn with thorns. After all the end never justifies the means.

Hi Anonymous

True. The journey is as important as the destination itself. Lets be optimistic and live life to the fullest.

P.S: Wondering whether the two anonymous comments are from the same person?

Hi Anonymous

To admit absolutely frankly, I am curious as to who this is. May be I should disable anonymous comments from my blog ;-)

I didnt expect a comment about Daffodils in this page. I had to wade through quite a few posts before I realized that its here. Still thats ok.

Anyway thanks a lot for the comments.

don't block anonymous posts. for all you know the person might not be a regular blogger or might not know how to post commentsor they might not have a web page on their own (heehee i am one of them) . i just realised that there are comments under each of your pic. sorry .Inime thappu panna maaten. blogs are something that have captured my attention recently. wading through lot of them and appreciating the creativity behind them has become a routine in life now. aren't these anon messages creating a sort of curiosity in you? has it started killing the cat already??
I was browsing BB in the morning as part of the daily ritual yesterday when i came across your blog.. hope that brings your curiosity within a defined boundary called infosys:). if u still feel that such anon comments are not warranted... proceed maadi and block maadi..
FYI -
I thorougly njoyed the pics in your blogs.
I have nothing to do with the previous 2 anon posts. probably u can refer me as anon 2.
Romba bejaar panreno??

Hi Anonymous2

Thats surprising. I dont know as to who you are. It shouldnt be difficult to trace you out through logs. Once I have the IP address, I can ping u via lan messenger. However I respect your privacy. So I wont check my logs.

As far as disabling anonymous post is concerned - no I wont take such draconian measures. As I told before its up to my users to decide whether they are anonymous or not and I will abide by that.

Plz its "baejaar" and not "bejaar". It makes a lot of difference, if only u knew about the origin of this name.

Anyway thanks for dropping by. Catch u tomorrow over a cup of strong kapi.......
