The road to hell

The road to hell

Quote: The safest road to Hell is the gradual one - the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts
Author: C.S.Lewis
Photographer: Shrinath Nagarajan

A beautiful photograph by Shrinath which some of you might have already recognized. I was just wondering about the quote - isnt it true? We never even realize it until its too late.

Frankly I am not a great fan or Iron maiden. So I cant assoicate that with ne song as of now.

ILI?

Karthik
Is this in Infy?

Nupur
Isnt it more of perspective? If one is positive at that moment, they see it as leading to heaven but when someone is feeling a bit low, all roads seem to lead to hell........

Nithya
Most of the Infy campuses are good looking. Wanna switch? ;-)

Revathi
Actually I walk down such lanes when I am feeling low. I have shared a lot with nature.

Paul and Enchant
Thanks for dropping by. Thats how life is. Isnt it? Temptations dangling in front of us, hoping that we will fall for it.......

Niki
The location is hilly alright. I do envy Shrinath who is living there.

Oh so true. Magnificant pic. There is a country music soung that states "The road to hell is paved with good intentions". Very similar. Found another quote I liked very well which I thought I would share with you:

Revenge has no more quenching effect on emotions than salt water has on thirst.

Most Infy campuses are impressive to say this least.

The pic makes me want to go out for a nice long walk. I think that's exactly what I will do!

Thanks Sonson for the quote. Its very suitable in this age where everyone is thirsting for revenge.

Deeps,
I really cant call that as untrodden path.

Manjusha,
Did you take the walk or not? There is nothing to beat a long walk particularly when the sun plays hide and seek with the clouds and there is some nice breeze. For me its raining outside and so I couldnt make it.

Rains are the best times to take a walk I always thought!
