Challenges

Challenges

Cast: Subhabrata Bhattacharya
Photographer: Dheepak Ra

Behind the Scenes:

The theme of the quote literally popped into my mind over a cup of tea. Neither Subh nor I am a great fan of tea. In fact the cup of tea which is immortalized in this snap, was never drunk by any of us. To admit frankly, the cold tea went down the drain.

Today we had too many curious onlookers at the shooting spot. Need to watch out from next time. Fame and loss of privacy are two sides of the same coin. Similar to cricketers, great politicians and film personalities, we guys shouldn't expect privacy ;-)

I dont know how much trouble u might land up in for putting up company (inside) photos on such a public platform, for openly (u said it) using infy resources (internet) for blog purpose.
though u havent menitoned i n f y in any text, this pic with coffee mug says it all. u seem like a traniee. so please learn some professionalism, to save yur own skin (and future appraisals).

Hi Anonymous

As far as your doubts are concerned

1. Inside photos: Well none of my photos are company confidential. Any visitor to Infy in the weekend can take these snaps and nothing is stopping them from posting on the net. Infact you can do a quick google to confirm it.

2. "learn some professionalism": I wonder as to how you define professionalism.

3. "save your own skin": If its appraisal, then I dont have to worry too much. I am working in a professional company under an excellent manager. They look at my output and they wont mind as to how I utilize my free time.

4. "seem like a trainee": One never stops learning, unless he wishes to go down the barrel. Appearances can be deceptive. But you can confirm by a google on "dheepak ra"

5. "coffee mug says it all": That was an unintentional error while taking the snap. Even if the name appears in the cup, it shouldnt be an issue. After all it is being used for non-commmercial purpose and I am not infringing on their copyright either.

6. "infy resources": Company does provide 2 + 2 hours of internet access to all employees. I am using it, just like the way you are (to comment now)

It would have been nice, if you had posted ur name atleast instead of being anonymous. Anyway thanks for your feedback, I will be more careful in the future.

Hi,

It seems like the 'anonymous' user had been previously caught red-handed for using company resources maliciously which might have affected his apppraisal.

Thanks anyway for your portend.
